QUESTION: I have a pocket watch I want you to sell for my family. Can you tell me something about it and the value you would hope to realize in one of your auctions. I am attaching a few pictures.
ANSWER: The markings on this watch are very apparent,
E. Howard & Co. 206511. 14K yellow gold pocket watch, Dueber 1499973. A very fine watch for the time period last half of the 19th century. Dueber Co. in Ohio made the case and the E. Howard Co. Boston completed the watch for sale. The watch has a second hand sweep and with its face cover is considered a hunt case watch. It would bring $750-1500 in one our auctions.
QUESTION : I have this diamond wedding set that I must sell from my cousins estate can you give me some info on it and the amount that it might bring at auction?
ANSWER:. The Engagement Ring mounting is cast in Platinum. Ring is set with one round brilliant full cut diamond center stone. Center diamond is custom set in a 4 prong, open-back setting. Wedding Ring: Band mounting is cast in Platinum. Band is set with a total of (3x) Baguette Cut Diamonds. Diamonds are all custom set in open-back, shared bar style settings. Ring size is 8.25. It should bring about $10,000 at auction
